Learn to Ski/Board Program
How would you like to learn to ski or snowboard this winter? Maybe your children or spouse would like to learn, too. Join the Cape Cod Ski Club on one of their regularly scheduled day trips to Waterville Valley on Sunday, January 9th. You just show up dressed for the outdoors with a willingness to try something new! The mountains provide a program designed for those brand new to the sport:
- lower-mountain lift ticket
You ride a CCSC bus to your choice of destination and, if you are a beginning skier or boarder, participate in the mountain’s “Learn-to-Ski/Board” program for only $30. You will pay the CCSC for your bus ride only ($35/person for members or children). When you arrive at Waterville Valley a designated person will direct you to the rental and ski school areas, where you will pay the mountain $30 for their package. The price is terrific, considering all that is included. Call the trip leader now for more information.
If you are not a member of the CCSC, and you are 21 or older, you may either join the club ($45) or become a one-day member ($15 additional charge on a day trip). Go to Member Application to join the club. As a member, you may bring your children and their friends, under age 21, as guests on this trip as long as there is a completed Permission slip for each child. If you become a one-day member, and later decide to join the club, we will apply your $15 membership fee to the regular $45 dues.
Skiers and boarders are always welcome on all Sunday trips. Just pay the regular $70 day trip rate ($35 for bus and $35 for lift ticket) or the $85 one day membership with bus and lift ticket . Go to On Line Trip Reservation to sign up for all trips, including Learn to Ski option at Waterville!
