Annual Bass River Kayak Trip ... August 17, 2025

We're setting out on the annual kayaking adventure on Bass River on Sunday, August 17! We'll be departing from Bass River Park, 40 Main St / Rte 28, West Dennis (at the base of the Bass River Bridge). Kayaks are available to rent at Bass River Kayaks or bring your own to launch.

Tide should be perfect ... outgoing from 9-noon and incoming noon-6. Let’s make this a large flotilla this year! Our destination is "Boaters Beach" ... for non-paddlers, that's the spot accessible by land from West Dennis Beach (at the far end / parking fees and access limitations may apply).

Meet between 9 / 9:30am at Bass River Park with anticipated launch at 10am. Pack sunscreen, water/beverages, and whatever you'll need.

Not paddling? Why not?! Buuuuttt, you're welcome to meet up with us on Boaters Beach at the end of West Dennis Beach ... or at Sundancers at the end of the day (approx 3pm). Hope to "sea" you somewhere!
