Registration instructions:

  • First, register online. The website will not allow initial partial credit/debit card payments. If you pay the entire amount when you register, you can pay via credit/debit card online. If you want to make partial payments, the $500 deposit must be made via check. Mail your payment to the Trip leader payable to CCSC. DO NOT MAIL FLY TRIP CHECKS TO THE CLUB P.O. BOX!  Click here for Tips & Tricks for smooth and quick fly trip registration.
  • Then, look for an email from the Trip Leader after the deposit deadline with details or wait list information.
  • Subsequent payments, if not final, must be made via check. Final balances can be made via credit/debit card.
  • If you cancel, a $50 minimum cancellation fee applies. If the club has already made non-refundable commitments on your behalf in excess of $50, you are responsible for those charges.
  • Trip prices include current taxes and surcharges. Additional air tax and fuel adjustments are possible.
  • Trip prices do not include checked luggage charges.
  • Changes in flight schedule are possible and likely to occur.
  • TSA numbers can be included in your member profile and will carry over to registration
  • Passport numbers are not stored in your profile (if it's expired you don't want an expired number on your registration and it's our effort to protect your information).
  • All trips include round-trip ground transfers to/from Cape Cod and Logan and can not be opted out of or discounted from trip base price.
  • All trips offer round-trip ground transfers to/from destination airport. If you choose to not fly with the Club, it is your responsibility to meet up at the destination airport if you intend to take advantage of the ground transfers to and from the resort.
  • Trips need a minimum level of registrants to go.
  • Prices are based on double occupancy—we'll work to match you with roommate/condomates.
  • All prices subject to change for circumstances beyond the control of the Cape Cod Ski Club.
  • Trip Insurance - The CCSC suggests you consider buying trip insurance. INSURE MY TRIP is one travel insurance comparison website that offers many trip insurance options. The Cape Cod Ski Club is not affiliated with any insurance company and your trip leader can not provide information about trip insurance. If you have any questions about insurance, please contact an insurance company directly.  https://www.insuremytrip.com/

Valle Nevado Ski Resort is Chile’s highest and most modern ski resort, with an upscale infrastructure and plenty of lodging and dining options. The resort is close to Santiago and totally above treeline, with well-groomed slopes and an abundance of off-piste gullies that gives the feel of a natural terrain park. With all this, the mountain skis bigger than even its 44 runs suggest. You just need to know where to go. Pro skiers and snowboarders and national ski teams from the US, Canada, and Europe head to Chile from August until mid-September to train, film video segments, run product catalog photo shoots, and build up their social media content. It’s common to end up sitting on a chairlift or have dinner next to the best skiers and riders in the world. Chile is without a doubt the ski and snowboard “summer camp” for the world’s best. August is generally the best time to ski and ride powder. Snow storms build the resort bases from May through July. Come August, the bases are deep and more storms continue to refresh the slopes and backcountry. August is a good time to have great quality snow.

This trip has several registration options based on having an Ikon pass or not. Please read all information carefully during registration.

        THE FINE PRINT

CANCELLATION: Group travel has very strict cancellation policies. Hotel, air, and tour operators each have cancellation charges based on when you cancel.

In exceedingly rare cases, a scheduled trip may be affected by weather conditions and specifically lack of snow at the destination. In these circumstances, the travel chair and/or trip leader will work with the tour operator to re-design a trip and offer an alternative and comparable destination. If it becomes necessary to cancel a trip, the Club and members may incur monetary loss including but not limited to various cancellation fees, deposits, rebooking fees, and airline penalties. The Club will, to the best of its ability, return money to the member and this will be determined by the Executive Board as the canceled trip is reconciled. In the event no reimbursement is obtained, the member may lose their deposits and/or payments.

Please read and understand the Cape Cod Ski Club Policies.
